Neil has served the community since 2007 and been at the forefront of campaigns to stop the Viewforth Link Road, restore twice a month bin collections, upgrade the Kings Park, and to prevent quarrying in the Gillies Hill.

As well as being Cllr for Stirling West, Neil is the Chair of the Planning Committee on Stirling Council.
